El Templo De Panamá

What a week! We saw the hand of the Lord every single day.

A convert of mine and Elder Medina from David, Chiriquí, who was baptized a year ago, received his endowments on Saturday! Elder Martínez and I had the privilege to enter the temple with him and his wife! They traveled from the completely other side of Panamá, all night long (8 hours), to arrive early Saturday morning. Franklin is one of my biggest examples, and I admire his love for the Lord, his family, and the faith, determination, and endurance that he has. He is already a strong and faithful leader of the church!

I can't express how thankful and blessed I am for the opportunity I had to see him one last time before I return home and see him take the next spiritual step in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ as he progresses on the covenant path. I love the temple and the peaceful spirit I feel when I'm inside. In December, Franklin, his wife Gladys, and their daughters will be sealed in the temple for time and eternity. I love them so much, and I surely will miss them!

We are working with and teaching two big part-member families: la familia Arrocha y la familia Muñoz. Yesterday, both of these families came to church! La familia Arrocha is a family of 11! It has been a pretty difficult and long process trying to activate them and teach the kids who aren't baptized, but the Lord swooped in Sunday morning and blessed us miraculously. They were all ready to go when the Diablo Rojo bus came to pick them up for church!

I testify that God truly is a God of miracles because I have witnessed it this week a number of times. He hears and answers our prayers. I know that this is His great and marvelous work.

I can't believe I have just one week left serving the Lord and His children in Panamá.

I will be coming home next Thursday, August 3rd, so I will write my last email before then!

I love every single one of you.

Elder Felt
