Miracles On Top Of Miracles

What a week it was in Vista Alegre! The promise land! This ward is awesome. The members are super strong, faithful, and best of all, they love the work. The Lord is certainly providing us with miracles and guidance throughout this adventure. Milagros from the Sabbath day yesterday! - We found 2 elect people through members last week and both are on date for the 29th! A little boy named Pakiler Davis and an older lady named Elbira Hartman! Yesterday we confirmed Pakiler's baptism by getting to know his parents and getting their permission!  -And the following lesson, we met a Kuna lady who is the aunt of a faithful member. We taught her the message of the Restoration and then invited her to get baptized this Saturday! She had gone to church previously but the missionaries never taught her because she doesn't speak or understand Spanish. But with the little dulhe gaya that I know, my companion and I were able to teach her. Her nephew and niece also helped us teach her who speaks ...

Vista Alegre

I hope everyone had a Lovely Easter weekend celebrating the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that He is the light and the hope of the world!  It has been a blast these past 2 weeks in my new area, Vista Alegre. She told us that she is looking for the true church! While teaching her the restoration, she was amazed when we testified of living prophets and apostles. We invited her to watch General Conference and the next day she did! She even sent us a photo of her watching it on her TV! She also admired our invitation to pray about our message to see if it was true. After ...

Hey everyone, it's been a few weeks! I hope all is well and that you all enjoyed General Conference. What a spiritual experience it was receiving revelation and finding peace from the words of our prophet. I testify that his words are truly from our loving Father in Heaven. After three unbelievable months serving in the magical and beautiful islands of Guna Yala, I returned back to the mainland of Panamá this past week. I am going to miss those indigenous people tremendously; they will always hold a special place in my heart. Luckily, there are tons of Kunas that live in my new area so I can still contact and teach a bit in their language! I will never forget the experiences, trials, and accomplishments, and everything that I learned from my time serving in Guna Yala. The experiences I had there changed me and helped me grow into a better person and servant of the Lord. Elder Roylance and I finished our time serving together on a high note as our 3 amigos William, Yordiel, and Kevi...
