Diablo Rojo

Hey everyone! Here's a weekly recap with some pictures! 



-Hike! We could see the Panamá Canal, the temple, and the city from the top. We rented a rojo diablo(big colorful bus) as a zone. It was legendary!



-Zone Conference! Went back to my first zone and went to the famous chichemito for juice and holadres. Conference was focused on the Atonement and working more effectively with members!



-Getting schooled in soccer by a bunch of kids.



-Went to an elderly home and shaved an old man's beard. 



-Elibra Hartman was baptized! We taught her the restoration last Sunday and on Saturday she got baptized! She was a golden referral from her family and it was a  team effort teaching her the Gospel in dulegaya.

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Despite all the hombres borrachos and unmarried couples that we are teaching, the work is moving forward, and many miracles are happening here in Panamá! Elder Martínez and I have been working a ton with recent converts and part-member families. Doing so, we have seen lots of success. The Lord is certainly providing, and we are excited to see the fruits of our labors as we continue to work diligently in His Vineyard. Angel and Daniel, who are the younger brothers of Leo (who is now reactivating), came to church yesterday. They are set for baptism on the 29th of July. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
