Miracles
It was a week filled with miracles. We have been focusing on working with members even more and talking to EVERYONE. Elder Garrett and I gave it our all and the Lord provided. He always provides and He always will!
-We had Zone Conference which was very inspiring and exciting as always. President Forsberg talked about how God is a God of Miracles. He always has been and He always will be. It's just up to our faith to see them.
-We got an Adventist couple to come to church! That was for sure one of the biggest miracles I have seen in the mission. For those that don't know, the sabbath days for adventists are Saturdays. We had been teaching them since we met them in the street about 3 weeks ago, and we knew that getting them to church would be the hardest challenge. But as we taught them the Restoration and Plan of Salvation, simply and clearly, they were able to feel the spirit and gain a better understanding of God's plan and His Gospel. Juan(the husband) began to cry because we were able to answer questions that he had for 40 years. I was further able to recognize that as missionaries, we truly are called of God and have the authority to help people, resolve doubts that they may have, and change their lives with the power of the Holy Ghost. At first, Juan tried teaching us and he wouldn't stop talking. It was super hard to teach him at first, but as we did, the Holy Ghost was able to touch his heart and humble him. He stopped talking as much and began to listen more. We invited him and his wife to church and they came. Huge miracle.
-Elder Garrett and I have been trusting the Book of Mormon a lot more recently and the power that it holds in conversion. Nadia told us that she believes that the Book of Mormon is true so we explained that the Book of Mormon is the key stone to our religion. If it's true then the church is true. We invited her to get baptized for like the 10th time and she accepted! I was shocked. We have been working with her since my first transfer. I'm grateful for my comp and his great faith. She will be baptized this Friday!
- Another quick miracle: Some members took us out to TGI Friday's and I ate a huge burger! I definitely felt like I was in the states as that was my first time in a restaurant in more than a year!
Mormon 9:15
"...God has not ceased to be a God of miracles."
I love you all so much and I'm grateful for your support and prayers. Let me know how you're all doing!
Elder Felt
