Staying In Chiriquí

What a week! I don't have a lot of time so I'll drop some photos! I'm happy to say that I'll be staying here in David for another transfer but will be getting a new comp! Elder Lewis is going to train a new missionary for his last transfer.


La familia Serrano all came to church and the 2 sisters, Paola & Missell, were confirmed!


Yoseph Murillo got baptized! We began teaching him, but then he and his wife moved so the sisters finished teaching him and got him baptized! It was a joyful experience.

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Despite all the hombres borrachos and unmarried couples that we are teaching, the work is moving forward, and many miracles are happening here in Panamá! Elder Martínez and I have been working a ton with recent converts and part-member families. Doing so, we have seen lots of success. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
