¿Cómo estamos? 


Despite not spending much time in our area this week because we were in the city, it was a phenomenal week! Yep, another 8 hour bus ride to Panama but this time with the entire zone! 


I met my new companion Elder Garrett who is from Oregon. He's an awesome missionary and I'm looking forward to serving with him for my 4th transfer in David!


On Thursday we had a conference with the entire mission and Elder Taylor of the 70! Then the following day, we had a leadership conference under his direction. It was for sure my favorite week that I've had yet in the mission. It was so amazing and special to be able to receive advice and revelation on how we can improve the work here in Panama from a man called of God to lead over Central America. I know that his words and teachings came from the Lord. He focused on Jesus Christ, the importance of teaching His doctrine with the Book of Mormon, and helping us understand that there is always a more effective way to do missionary work. Now it's time to apply it!


Yo sé que con todo mi corazón que la iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días es la iglesia verdadera. José Smith lo restauró. Gracias a él, tenemos profetas vivientes que nos guían para encontrar la paz, felicidad, esperanza en esta vida y gozo pleno en la vida venidera.

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
