Best Work In The World

This week was a grind because we are in the process of finding new people to teach. Even though the Panamá sun is scorching hot and it rains every single day, the work continues! This work will always push forward.

The mission can be very hard; mentally, emotionally, and especially physically tough as we walk everywhere! But I have realized that as I learn to rely on the Lord, He will bless and strengthen me. We can't do anything or accomplish any hard task without Him and the Atonement. We must continue to strive and complete our tasks and responsibilities no matter what. He will help us!

Jacob 1:19 "And we did magnify our office unto the Lord, taking upon us the responsibility, answering the sins of the people upon our own heads if we did not teach them the word of God with all diligence; wherefore, by laboring with our might their blood might not come upon our garments; otherwise their blood would come upon our garments, and we would not be found spotless at the last day."

This scripture stood out to me this week as I was studying. Nefi commands his little brother, Jacob, to take care of the plates and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must follow the example of Jacob and magnify our callings and responsibilities in the church. It is within these callings, where we truly learn, grow, and align our will with God's will. Doing so will guide us to a more happy and fulfilling life.

On Wednesday, we had exchanges with the APs! Both of them were my companions too! So it was a great time talking about our fellow members, converts, and Investigators. Elder Budge came out with me and we grinded! It felt so good being back and serving with him again for a day. He is such a powerhouse.

Elizabeth Montenegro was baptized! She was able to follow the steps and example of her little sister, Itzy, who was baptized a few weeks ago. Elizabeth also has a 7 year old daughter that absolutely loves the primary class! She will be turning 8 in June.

Here are some photos from the past 2 weeks!

I love you all and I'm grateful for every single one of you. Feel free to send a message my way! I would love to see how you are all doing.
