Los 4 Fantásticos

Hey family and friends, ¿cómo estamos??

I gotta apologize for not sending out an email last week! These past 2 weeks have just been insanely busy, crazy, hard but so very fulfilling and most importantly fun.

This entire week has been occupied by protests in Panama, especially here in Chiriqui due to the gasoline problem. The area of San Felix became dangerous super quickly so the elders came out to our area last pday and have been working with my comp and I here in David all week. And that explains the title of the email. We had a very successful week of finding, teaching, and even baptizing! With the energetic, powerful, and faithful elders of San Felix, we were able to find 18 new people, teach tons of families, and baptize our friends Keira De Gracia and a somewhat famous singer here in the interior of Panamá. Her name is Migdalia Lezcano and she even sang at her baptism! How cool is that?? Elder Medina said "esta semana estábamos los 4 fanáticos." In english, "we were the fantastic 4" hahaha. Yes it was an amazing week full of miracles and success in the Lord's work but we couldn't have done it without the elders of San Felix and we definitely couldn't have done it without the guidance, help, and power of God.

Truthfully, I thought it was going to be a rough week with everything that is going down in Chiriquí. On top of that, Satan was working real hard on Migdalia to not enter on the covenant path. But the Lord provided a way. He always provides a way especially in this Great and Marvelous Work. Remember that! Trust Heavenly Father and trust His timing. In this life, we are going to go through hard times and afflictions. There's no doubt, but I also have no doubt that the Lord does visit us during these times. Be patient. Like my loving and dear Mother says, "everything has a way of working out." I have always admired these loothing words; it is SO true. The blessings will come. President Russell M. Nelson said "we should be grateful for our trials' ' because trials help us to learn, grow, and change for the better. During these times of trial, focus on doing what your Heavenly Father wants you to do and He will bless you. Keep that in mind folks.

I love you all heaps and I hope you're all doing well
