La Familia De Gracia

Hola familia y amigos, ¿que tal? I hope you are all doing super well and had a great week! It was another great week here in the el país de Chiriquí.

 

 

-The protests have been crazy but they are cooling down a bit. Transfers were extended twice due to the closed streets and are now on Thursday so we will see what happens!

 

 

-On Monday, we went on a hike to a waterfall with the district and it was beautiful. I'll drop some photos below!

 

 

-Today William De Gracia and Eira De Gracia got civilly married and will be getting baptized this Saturday! Their daughter Keira was baptized last week and all their other kids are members. It was a true miracle that they were able to get married this fast and wow, what a blessing it has been to be a part of the process. This has been one of the coolest and spiritual experiences that I have had on my mission being able to see their progress in the gospel. And now the entire family will be on the covenant path together! I sure hope I will get to see this beautiful family get sealed in the temple in one year before I return home. 

 

 

Read the Book of Mormon every day! Do the little things every day! I promise that you will be blessed and strengthened in every aspect when you do the little and simple things. Alma 37:6-7

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
