Danielis, Daniel, & David
Hey everybody! Que tal?! I hope you all had a great week and are all doing well! It was another insanely fast week in David, Chiriqui! Here are the highlights.
- Elder Medina and I took a bus early Wednesday morning to a town called Boquete. This place is gorgeous. It's a little town surrounded by mountains and it's actually a bit chilly! It was the first time that I actually felt a little cold in a super long time. It's a wealthy area and a lot of gringos(white people) live there. It reminds me of Park City, Utah which is crazy! Anyways, we went to Boquete to teach a man named Franklin who is the husband of the Young Women's President. We had a couple lessons on the phone but we wanted to meet him in person. We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and wow it was an amazing experience and very well worth the trip. The spirit was so strong, and he was tearing up after he accepted our invitation to be baptized. Heck, I even started tearing up.
- On Saturday, 3 siblings got baptized together- Danielis, Daniel, and David. Their parents nor their grandparents are members so we have been working hard with the members so that they can have support. All of the leaders are heavily involved so that they don't fall astray. These kids are filled with happiness, and the light and joy of Christ. Maximiliano is a future missionary who helped us out with the baptisms! He's gonna be a killer missionary.
All the missionaries are working hard in the zone and it is paying off big time as 8 children of God have entered the waters of baptism and are now on the path to eternal life. Now, they just gotta get to the Temple!
I know the church is true because I can feel the spirit testify everytime we teach the restored gospel. I love you all and I hope you are all doing super well. ¡Que tengan un excelente semana!
Love, Elder Felt
