To Blessed To Be Stressed

¡Que Xopa todos! How was your guys' week??



The highlights of the week have to be the service projects, sports night and the rain! On Tuesday nights, we have a sports activity with the branch! It has been a great way to grow closer to the youth, the leaders, and having friends come! Right now we are teaching a 14 year old boy named Manuel and he absolutely loves it. We play basketball, volleyball, and soccer. There was also a ward baptism going on at the same time so everybody took a little break to go support and watch so there were like 30 people! Heck, now Elder Budge and I are gonna start having baptisms on Tuesday nights now so that we can have a bigger attendance haha. 



Our first service project that we did was with the district and we washed a ladies wall so that she can paint it. It was pretty fun plus she made us a usual Panamanian breakfast which is just hot dog sausage and thick tortillas. The second service project was the branch. We went over to Apolonias house to fix her roof because 2 dudes came into her house by jumping from the hole in the roof. They robbed her and even hit her a couple times...super super sad. She's doing better now but she's still super nervous of course. Fortunately, the branch is heavily involved in the situation. 



The rain is coming and it poured a ton this week. We  got drenched but that's a blessing because the sun is too strong and the rain keeps things nice and cool. Plus a member let us into their home to dry off a bit and they started talking about tons of less active members who love close by! 



My love for the Gospel grows every single day. Our Heavenly Father and the Gospel of His son Jesus Christ really is the best guidance that we have in our life. When we focus on Christ and His teachings we receive so many blessings. I honestly have no idea what I would do without it.

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
