Week 1 With My New Brother

¡Que Xopa!

This week was super solid. My new comp, Elder Budge, is a stud and he just wants to work so you already know I am super happy. We have a ton in common, it's crazy, so I am stoked for this transfer with him. He's already one of my best friends!

We focused heavily on the members this week to get to know them more. We had a couple lessons with members that were super successful- 2 with priests who are preparing to serve a mission! Their names are Harold and Demetrio and they are gonna be killer missionaries.

Alberto y Maria: We have had 2 lessons with them this week after we had our first with them on Sunday. We taught the Restoration and also the importance of marriage. They are not married but they want to get married and baptized! So right now, thats our project. We gotta figure out how to get people married here in Panama. With your prayers and the help of the members in our branch, we can get it done! They also came to church yesterday so that was the biggest miracle.

We have a baptism this week for Ingrid Sanchez because she never recieved the confirmation because of the Pandemic so she has to get baptized again. She is the older sister of Edilma.

I don't have a whole lot of time but I just want to say how grateful I am to be a missionary during this time. This is the Lords work and it is the greatest work that there will ever be. Lets put on our armor and help Gods children come unto Christ. We will recieve blesings for it.
