V-Day
Happy Superbowl weekend, Valentines day, and Happy late Birthday to my momma! I have always loved this time of year ever since I was a little because February holds the Superbowl which is the most viewed sport's game in the whole world; my family gets to celebrate it with my mom's birthday too! So if you haven't wished her a happy birthday yet, you should do it, and it's not too late! I'm beyond thankful for her and everything that she does for me. She and my dad are the reason why my siblings and I are so close, and how we have our hobbies and accomplishments because no matter what, we always had her support. She is kind, selfless, thoughtful, strong, spiritual, and beautiful. She has taught me the importance of family and now I get to share how families can be blessed like mine has been through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Fathers plan for us. Of course I miss my family and also a little bit of football, but I wouldn't want to change it for the world. I have this great blessing to share the knowledge, hope, and joy that I have that comes from this Gospel to families in Panama. There is not anything else that I would rather be doing than participating in this great work of the Lord.
With that being said, Elder Budge and I were blessed to be able to see progress with a few of our friends! Here's a highlights:
- Alberto and Maria came to church and they are super excited for their baptism. It's best seeing their happy faces every time we visit throughout the week. On Sunday, Alberto said "So where are you guys baptizing me?" hahaha so we showed him the baptismal font and showed a video.
- Flor Casto also came to church! We had been trying to get here for awhile and she finally came!
- Ingrid had her baptism and she was finally confirmed!
- We met a lot of less active members and families which led to 3 dinners last night and one of those members had a pet sloth
- This morning we went on a hike with the new zone and it was remarkable. It was nice feeling a bit chilly
Catch ya next week
Love,
Elder Felt
