6 Months!

¡Que lo Que!



How is everybody doing??  Another super good week out here in El Progreso! I hit 6 months this week as a missionary and 4 1/2 months here in the field! Time is starting to pick up and fly by, it's crazy. 



This week we saw lots of miracles! Lots of those miracles were small but they sure do make a huge difference. Some of those miracles included a few seconds of breeze and a tiny bit of shade under those clouds, free rides from random people up a hill, or even getting duros(popsicles) from the natives here. These moments made the week easier to get by!



Elder Budge and I ran to the beach for our morning workouts, and we also found a super pretty spot In Puerto Camito after our lesson with Roman! We taught him the commandment of keeping the Sabbath Day Holy using the bible. He loves the bible so we did what he wanted and laid straight doctrine down. The words were pretty strong and it definitely hit him haha.



After District Council, we brought half the zone to come get lunch from Marias restaurant because we promised that we would. She was so happy and she loaded us up with rice, pork, and cow intestine! It was pretty good, just a weird texture is all.

24 And I said unto them that it was the aword of God; and whoso would hearken unto the word of God, and would bhold fast unto it, they would never perish; neither could the ctemptations and the fiery ddarts of the eadversary overpower them unto blindness, to lead them away to destruction.



We gotta read the Book of Mormon every day so that we may be protected from the temptations of Satan. Not only can this book protect and guide us, but it comforts us and brings us happiness even during our hardships in life!

Panamá beat the US in soccer, so everyone was going crazy—partying and drinking. We had a bunch of contacts with hombres borrachos in the streets. You know when a man's drunk when they start speaking to us in English, haha. Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
