Edilma & Transfers!

Buen dia familia y amigos, como va todo!!??

This week was a week full of miracles that is for sure. I'll drop a few highlights below

So Elder Putt is outta here and off to Colon, and I'm staying here in El Progreso! My new comp's name is Elder Budge and he is also American. He's from the factory which is no surprise haha. It's gonna be a good time with him and I'm stoked to meet him tomorrow. I'll be waking up at 4 in the morning to go to the city to meet up with him and bring him back to La Chorrera.

Edilma was baptized on Saturday and confirmed on Sunday, it was amazing. She was so happy and she just couldn't stop smiling afterwards haha. We also found that her older sister, Ingrid was baptized right before the pandemic hit and never got confirmed. So President said that we gotta go over a few things with her and baptize her again. So we are super grateful that we found that out.

Alberto y Maria- They were a solid reference from the sister missionaries. We taught them the Restoration and it was so powerful. We're gonna invite them to be baptized after we teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ so hopefully they are married!

Neither Roman nor Joshua came to church sadly so hopefully we can get a lesson or 2 with them this week. They are just both insanely busy with work so we'll see. Also, keep Flor and Yomi in your prayers as they have a ton of questions about the church. They have potential but they need to get a testimony of the Book of Mormon and to also find time to get to church!

Scripture of the week- 2 Nephi 2:25 is super simple yet so powerful- ´´Adam fell that men might be; and men care, that they might have joy.´´ I love using this scripture when teaching the Plan of Salvation. We are here on this earth literally to have joy. That's it. The way to find this joy is by using the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day as individuals and as families. The gospel strengthens families and brings us happiness to our life. All we need to do is stay on the righteous path, continue to trust the Lord even when life is hard, and share this light to others. Keep moving forward and just have fun with it.

Feel free to send something over, I wanna know how you are all doing! I love every single one of you guys
