Bastante Comida & Christmas Conference

Heyyyyyy fam and friends,

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas!! I wanna hear all about it so feel free to send something over. This week we had Christmas Conference in the City on Wednesday and it was such a good time. We woke up at 4 am to try and beat the traffic and it still took 2 hours to get three. Panamanians are crazy. I don't even think they sleep at all ever. I sure do admire them and their efforts. They are insanely hard workers and are so grateful for what they have. I have definitely learned to be more grateful for the things that I have. It's a humbling experience for sure and I encourage you all to thank your Heavenly Father for the blessings that you all have every day. He has given us so much, so we can at least talk to him, express our gratitude, and seek for more help. That is all he wants from us. It's a simple task that will go a long way. Anyways, It was super cool seeing other missionaries especially the ones that came on the plane with me, I have some pics down below! We even watched Cocoa which was the absolute best. All of us were so stoked haha.

On Christmas Eve, Elder Putt and I did a service project with members in the other ward. We gathered a ton of food and dropped it off at less active members' houses who don't have a whole lot. We shared a quick message and bore our testimonies on the Savior, Jesus Christ. It was by far my favorite experience yet in the field.

Christmas here is wack, but it was still so good. Here in Panama, they celebrate Chriistmas on the 24th and they open their presents at midnight, they cook food, and set off fireworks. So they pull all-nighters and sleep all day on the 25th. The sky was lit up with fireworks all night long so it was pretty sweet. On Christmas day we had a huge lunch with the Familia Chunga and 2 dinners; One with the whole zone with the familia Diaz and the other with the familia Cantos. It was a good time.

Transfers are tuesday...I'm staying here in El Progreso with Elder Putt which is pretty unusual. He has been here forever so everyone thought he was heading out. Looks like we have some unfinished work to do! This next transfer will be 5 weeks since the last transfer was 7 weeks so it'll be a quick one.

I love all of you so much and I appreciate all your love and support. I hope you guys have an amazing start to this new year!
