WEEK 3 IN THE FIELD

What's up everybody!! I hope you all had a great week. This past week has been the best one yet. The mission just gets better every single day, and I am so grateful to have the best opportunity to be an instrument in the Lord's hands to help serve and bring his children unto Christ.

We had 2 companion exchanges this week which was an awesome experience. My first exchange was with the Zone Leader and my 2nd exchange was with the District Leader. We had 6 lessons on Tuesday and 4 on Friday! Elder Furhiman and Elder Wutkee showed me the way and showed me what a usual day in the mission should be like so I am super glad I got to be with them, I learned heaps.

Elder Putt and I gave a church tour to this guy named Erick and his son Rex. We also taught them a lesson afterwards. We invited them to church and they came! They really enjoyed it, and we are having another lesson with them on Tuesday so I'm stoked for that. Yesterday at church, I met a lot of people, and they gave us a few referrals to less active families in the branch. Elder Putt and I are going to try and bring them back. There are a ton of less active people in the branch because of the pandemic, so we have a lot of work to do.

Luckily, we get fed a lot here, and I am counting my blessings. This will probably be the nicest area I have in the mission, so I really have to cherish these next couple weeks. For example, we had 3 lunches yesterday...they were all rice and chicken haha. I don't think I have had one meal here that wasn't rice and chicken. Yesterday, we met a super cool family. They aren't members, so we're going back to their home for a lesson. They were super nice. Even though we had just eaten lunch, they gave us a big bowl of soup with chicken, yuka(it's kind of like a potato), and more rice. We walk so much, I'm always hungry so having multiple meals is way nice. The food we eat is always sooooo good. Also, the fruit here is the best part. There are so many different types of fruit that I have never heard of. Maracuya´s are my favorite, and there's a lot of juice here as well.

The Lord blessed Elder Putt and I with many miracles this week. I know that if you give it your all everyday putting your trust in the Lord then he will bless you. It's always important to find a way to grow your faith in Christ every day. If you have the desire to become a better person each day and work hard on growing your faith, then your Heavenly Father will bless you with little miracles. I encourage you all to look for those little miracles that happen during this next week.

I love you all a ton,

-Elder Felt
