THIS TRAVEL ITINERARY IS DEPENDENT ON APPROVAL OF YOUR VISA AND/OR DOCUMENT PROCESSING.


 

The itinerary to travel to the new mission assignment is below. The return flight in OCT28 is for immigration purposes only- the missionary will not be taking this flight. Please check this itinerary and contact me directly as soon as possible if changes are needed. Below are the current COVID-19 travel requirements which can also be found at https://www.visitpanama.com/information/travel-guidelines


 

·         Note: you will need the Airline Booking Reference Highlight in yellow at the bottom of your ticket, to do your online checking.


 

·         Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result. The test must be taken within 72 hours before departure in Panama. Travelers arriving without a valid negative test must take a COVID-19 test at the airport on arrival, at their own cost.


 

·         Fully vaccinated travelers must present a valid vaccination certificate on arrival, showing at least 14 days have passed since they received the last dose. Vaccines used must be approved by WHO, EMA, or FDA.


 

·         All travelers are required to complete an Electronic Affidavit (sworn statement) prior to check-in. After filling up the document, travelers will receive a QR code that must be shown on their smartphone (if traveler doesn’t have a phone, please print off the QR code). *COVID testing is coordinated through our partner ShareMy.Health. To initiate this process, you will need to request a testing kit by redeeming this voucher code B8UYFK using this link https://redeem.sharemy.health. Please redeem this voucher code and request a testing kit as soon as possible and do not share this voucher code with other missionaries.  Once your voucher code has been redeemed, ShareMy.Health will send you the testing instructions, mail a testing kit, and email the tracking number.

Please take (and register) your COVID test NOT EARLY THAN 25 SEP AT 7:45 AM

After taking the test and registering please drop off to the ShareMy.Health Lab immediately. To ensure your test results are done in time please drop it off before noon on Thursday.

IMPORTANT: Do not eat (including mints), drink or chew gum for at least 30 minutes before you collect your sample. Drop your collected sample off at the lab in South Jordan. You do not need to wait in the line of cars, just walk your sample in. Wait for an email from ShareMy.Health telling you that your results are ready.

**If a PCR test result doesn’t arrive in time then please take a rapid antigen test!!**

Merry Christmas From San Blas

Merry Christmas and Happy New year! I hope you are all enjoying this special and joyous time with your loved ones.      This season is by far my favorite time of year especially as a missionary. It's truly amazing being able to help others feel the Christmas spirit and remind them what it is all about- the birth, life, and atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ.      About a week and a half ago, I received a call that I was being transferred. After the most incredible 7 months in David my time came to an end. It was hard to say goodbye to my dear friends but I'm looking forward to having new marvelous experiences in a new place. I will now be serving in the San Blas islands learning a new indigenous language called "Dulegaya."      Before coming out, the new San Blas elders and I spent a couple days preparing by buying food, our sandals, and our hammocks!
